Why RhinoResurf fails loading into Rhino?

Loading RhinoResurf into Rhino 7:

Question: When I try loading RhinoResurf into Rhino 7, I get the error shown as the following picture. How can I solve this problem?

Answer: Please use the following 3 steps to solve this problem:

step 1: check your RhinoResurf install version is right for Rhino 7.

You can download the latest right RhinoResurf version from here http://www.resurf3d.com/rhinoresurf07/RhinoResurf_v4r7.exe , this is the right RhinoResurf v4.x for Rhino 7.

We strongly recommand you download the latest RhinoResurf version from the above URL. RhinoResurf new version will be updated unregularly via this URL.

After you install RhinoResurf into your system, you can see the files listed in the following picture in the installation folder (typically, the folder is "C:\Program Files\Rhino 7\Plug-ins\RhinoResurf")

Please maked sure your installation folder should include the 4 files at least : RhinoResurf_r7.rhp , ResurfEvaLib_x64.dll, RhinoResurfLib.dll and DialogOption.xml . Lack of anyone of them will result in error.

It is better to check the date and file size too.

Step 2: check your Rhino 7 version number.

Click "Help->About Rhinoceros..." in Rhino 7, check if your Rhino 7 version is 'Version 7 SR5
(7.5.21100.3001, 2021-04-10)" or later. If your Rhino 7 version is older than this, please upgrade it from http://www.rhino3d.com

Step 3: If all of the above conditions are satisfied and RhinoResurf still fail loading into Rhino 7, please contact us via this e-address: info (AT) resurf3d.com . Thank you for your patience.
