4. FAQs

FAQ 1 - Why RhinoResurf register dialog does not display in my Rhino

RsSplitCurveNetwork

Menu Button

Resurf > Split Curve Network

Command Name

RsSplitCurveNetwork

This command splits automatically the curve network by their intersection point position.

To split the selected curves:

1. Click Split Curve Network from curves from the Resurf menu or type RsSplitCurveNetwork at the Rhino command prompt.

2. Click left-mouse button to select a group of curves, then click right-mouse button, a dialog will show.

3. Set the gap tolerance number , such as 0.0001, click the button Split. The selected will be splitted by their intersection points.

4. Click the button Save to save the splitted as .nc file. This file data will be used in RsMesh2Surfs.

Dialog description:

Gap tolerance :tolerance threhols for checking if curve end points are same, for example, if the distance between vertex A on the end of curve 1 and vertex B on the end of another curve 2 is smaller than 0.0001, vertex A and B are corrected as a same vetex C, curve 1 and curve 2 are connected on vertex C.

Split: do curves splitting .

Save: save the curve network as .nc file for being used in command _RsMesh2Surfs .
